- Unquestionably the most practical tool for making screw pits on bars in Biosafe, Bioplast, Bioflex or PTFE, whether in 1.2mm or 1.6mm (see enlarged photo). Instructions for use:
- – If you cut your bar yourself, use a sharp blade and not a pair of scissors, you can cut slightly bias for easier insertion into the element . – choose the notch of the clamp according to the diameter of your bar and place it at the right depth: 2mm for a 1.6mm rod, 1.5mm for a 1.2mm rod (not to the end of the notch) .
- – press firmly once . – screw a metal element thoroughly onto your rod and unscrew it so as to perfect the screw pitch (be careful to place it straight so as not to create a second step of offset screw), the larger the element, the easier it is to handle .
