Stainless Steel Round Jaw with 3 notches & needle nose used for captive bead rings. these open the ring to help in removing and inserting beads is very useful for fitting or removing ball closure rings, bar closure rings and segment rings. Insert the pincer ends through the ring and then squeeze the handles together slowly to apply slight opening pressure. Don’t squeeze too hard or you may stretch the ring. With the ring held slightly open put the ball, bar or segment in place and then release your hold on the handles. The same process is applied for removing balls, bars or segments. These Pliers works best on rings 5/16″ to 1.5″ in diameter, and up to 0g in thickness.
